We are now Recruiting for our Little Rangers Squad - Boys & Girls Aged 5-6 - come along to our FREE Saturday morning sessions at Beaulieu Park, 0930 - 1100 am
We are now recruiting players for our U13 Girls Team for next Season. Training is currently underway so if you wish to come along and give it a try please contact our Club Secretary for further details.
Uplands Rangers YFC was founded in 1984 by Eamon Landers, in the Springfield area of Chelmsford.
Many teams, from U9s to mens grew over the years, with Uplands Rangers becoming a well- known name in Youth football in the Chelmsford area. During the 1990s our teams won trophies at various age groups and confirmed themselves within the Community.
The late 90s brought varying levels of success, one notably being the early career of Premiership star Greg Halford. In the following years the club had just two teams but both achieved promotion two years on the bounce with the younger side winning League and Cup doubles at U12 and U13 levels.
The Club is now run by Club Secretary Bob Blake and Chairman Andy King. This new era has seen us develop more sides, take strides in building a bigger and more consolidated Club and of course produce this Website for our members and fans to enjoy!
We now have an established link with Pro-Academy which is run by Mark Hunter, a UEFA B and West Ham United Academy Coach. This has seen a number of our players, both boys and girls, take that next step to train and play at a higher level. Through Pro-Academy we can now offer a genuine PlayerDevelopment Pathway into the professional game for those who have the desire, commitment and ability to succeed. (see Latest News below)
We also provide comprehensive off-pitch care which is explained in more detail in our Medical & Sports Science pages which can be found in the "More" drop down menu above.
We now enter the new season 2012/13 with 14 teams the most we have ever had which is a testament to the hard work and dedication provided by all of those connected with the Club.
We wish all our boys and girls the very best of luck for the coming season!
